Skipping the Summer Fiesta….

Posted on Friday 24 July 2009

2009 Comicon is being held right now in San Diego.
I’m skipping it this year after going there in the past three years promoting Out of Picture comics.
I am too busy to take any time off in the production crunch unfortunately…

Comicon has become a huge commercial convention in the recent years as opposed to a place to showcase independent artists and writers.
But for me, the best part of Comicon is that I meet all these artists.
I would miss that annual occasion to meet all these incredible artists coming from around the world.

Next year, We, OOP Press LLC. will be back with a new product and also, I’ll be selling my children’s book and more!

Finally, my kids book is in print! This is the cover of the book and the print came out beautifully. Japanese printers do such a great job!

    This is absolutly gorgeous, Daisuke-san ! ^^
The collage are very subtle… That is collage, right ?
That is so well integrated to the composition.

I hope next fall, while being in the bay area, I can put my hands on this book… Certainly in Japan Center. I always buy some good japanese publishing there ๐Ÿ˜‰
