caricatures

Posted on Thursday 30 November 2006

Here is another thing I don’t include in my gallery that I can maybe share with you.

One of the things I always did growing up was to do caricatures of my friends. I remember I made my girl classmate cry in the 4th grade. Ever since, I had to hold my urge to exaggerate facial features too much.

We do caricatures of each other a lot at Blue Sky. They think I am too harsh but because of my 4th grade trauma, I am really holding back.

My friend and an amazing illustrator Bob Makenzie. The Wyeth Giant illustration in my illustration section is my birthday gift for him. I think he is about 7 or 8 foot tall or something.(very tall for my Japanese standard..)

My friend and another talented artist Nash Dunningan. Everybody loves him.

    hey JC!

yeah, we have done way too many caricatures of each other. these two are some of the mild ones. not harsh at all. 😉 I have to say Bob MacKenzie is the best one. He has a blog now. He told me he’ll counter-strike with my caricature on his blog… stay tuned…
