My Turn….Gulp…

Posted on Saturday 6 November 2010

Finally, 4 plus years after my crazy French buddy Gerald Guerlais and I started this crazy grass roots project Sketchtravel, the book has only 3 pages left to go.
It has been a LONG journey. It went from all over the world and many of the cities to which I brought the book to deliver.
Now, it’s my turn. As excited as I want to say I am, this is terrifying because I could potentially ruin this book!

When you see the whole collection of the contributions by these artists, in the replica of the sketchbook slated to be published fall next year, you will know what I mean.
The book now is like a Museum. 60 plus incredible original pieces in one book.
I don’t know what I can do to live up to the rest of the book…

Anyhow, if you come to CTN-X this year, we will have a sneak preview where you can see all the images in the book as well as talk to the contributors such as Pete de Seve, Carter Goodrich, Ronnie del Carmen, Enrico Casarosa, Robert Kondo, Chris Appelhans and more!

ok, here is my EARLY attempt at my sketch. I’m hoping to finish today!
