I thought I’d never kill myself like I did last year when I organized such a big event as Totoro Forest Project, but there was something bigger waiting for me this year.

The project was rather a life time event with a big “C” word flashing big attached to it.
It was a lot of work of mostly our families in Japan to create such a memorable event.
So yeah, commitment, obligation, responsibility—-all the baggage that’s been foreign to me who has been just doing only what I wanted to do with my life.

But hey, it is one of the most wonderful things you can have in life..

Because I designed everything, it was a bit of a work but it made it more special!

The metal fishing stick thingy in the first picture is an original bookmark Mei hand crafted. They were all given to the guests as our thank you gifts along with my children’s book.
