So I’m not sure how many people know about this animation expo happening this coming weekend. This thing wasn’t under anyone’s radar earlier but it turns out that this may be one of the most amazing animation events you can ever imagine. They are trying to making this into Comicon of animation. There will be tons of TOP rated speakers as well as classes such as Pete de Seve, Bruce Block, Tom Sito, Don Bluth etc..
And there will be a panel about colors cripting and I’m invited to be a part of it.
I’ll be with my heroes such as Andy Gaskill, Dave Goetz, Paul Felix, and Lou Romano. I heard tickets are all sold out and if you happen to be one of them to attend, please say hello!
It seems to be an really amazing event. Now I’m really excited and proud to be a part of it. I hope to catch some of the talks to educate myself too.
Anyhow, here I’m sharing some sketches I did in Japan last month. With all the big event happening, I could only do a bunch of sketches. I did finish my moleskin book easy though. There are so much to draw in Japan!
>>> Here is the rest of the sketches!
I love the cab driver seat! Tons of interesting gadgets attached to it though I wonder if any of them are really useful…
I also experimented some coloring afterwords. It’s fun to try out strange colors!
