I didn’t get to do any painting as I wanted to but I can share my sketches here.
While I was over there, my dad had a stroke and was taken to an emergency room so I spent most of my vacation in the hospital. He survived. He was able to talk. He will be ok…for now… My dad is a passionate journalist/documentary producer. Never a successful one commercially but well respected by many journalists in Japan. He was always busy thinking about his mission to the society and I was never able to spend much time with him.

It was unfortunate that his health broke down and he is still in ICU until he undergoes a heart surgery. But it was in a way great for us to spend so much time together. And looks like he will be ok. He was so eager to get back to work to finish his new documentary show.
